About

Gary Dean Clarke is a New York–based photographer and information technology professional, originally from Kingston, Jamaica. A self-taught artist, Gary combines his technical expertise with a refined visual sensibility to create images that reflect culture, travel, and connection.

He holds an MBA from New York University (NYU), an MSc in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and a BA in Political Science from the University of Rochester. His photography has been commissioned by Sony Corporation of America, Lululemon, The Noname Program, and Sprint Step, and featured in Mother Jones, Runner’s World, BuzzFeed, and on The Dr. Oz Show.

Gary’s work has been exhibited at the Chrysler Museum of Art, Pace University Art Gallery, and the Museum of the City of New York. He has also contributed to Kúya Magazine and Jakes Hotel in Jamaica.
